FAQ

What kind of church are you?

Quentin United Church of Christ is made up of ordinary people from all walks of life who consider their church to be a family regardless of your blood. The people of Quentin UCC understand the need to continually rely on God. We aren't perfect, but we seek a God who cares and desires to be active in our daily life.

What Should I wear?

Feel free to wear whatever clothes make you feel most comfortable.
We care more that you're here, than what you wear.

What are your Sunday Services like?

Quentin's services focus mostly on worship and preaching. We'll share some announcements during the morning, express our hearts to God through music, and hear a teaching about God's word. There is a brief children's time after which the children choose to go to Sunday School or stay with us and worship. Both before and after the service, our gathering space is open to talk more with people you've met and grab a cup of coffee.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, or be singled out?

Rest assured that you won't be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed. Though we do receive an offering, we don't want anyone to feel obligated to give. We do like to collect some basic information from people in our Covenant of Friendship pads that are in the pews so that we may know if you would like a visit, but if you'd prefer not to, that's all right with us.

What about my kids?

A staffed nursery is available during the service.

Do you offer Christian Education?

Sunday School classes are offered for all ages (Pre-K through adult), at 9:00 a.m.Two Adult Sunday school classes offer in-depth exploration of Biblical truths and contemporary issues that affect your life.  You can choose to go to either at any time.
