"Voices From The Pew"

                                                         As a life-long member of this church
                                                        family, I'll take this opportunity to invite 
                                                        you to walk through our doors on a
                                                        Sunday morning and experience the
                                                        Holy Spirit through worship. If you walk
                                                        through the doors on a Thursday 
                                                        evening, you can sing along with the 
                                                        choir (senior and children).  We aren't
                                                        professional, but we sure do have a 
                                                        good time!  During the week you will find
                                                        a group meeting and sharing ideas with 
                                                        each other.  Periodically, we offer prayer
                                                        study, book study and workshops.
                                                        
                                                       On some Sunday mornings, you 
                                                       can walk through the doors and help to
                                                       assemble a jigsaw puzzle - it's something new and everyone wants to complete a piece of the puzzle!  Grab a cup of coffee and join us.
     At Easter time, the church family is busy preparing....the sanctuary for worship, making candy for the Candy & Flower sale, anthems to sing and the youth are preparing for their activities in the Relay for Life event.  And, if we are lucky, you don't have to come through the door, but enjoy the outdoors for our annual Easter Sunrise Service.
     The youth are full of energy and the door to the youth room is open and the invitation is given....join us as we experience the best years together!
     When the doors open at Christmas time, you can sing carols, light candles, experience it through the eyes of a young child and go through the doors feeling better for having been there!
    The Quentin United Church of Christ has a rich history of benevolent giving.  And because of our ministry of giving, we have opened many doors for others to experience the Holy Spirit.
     Another door was opened for me recently and I have the honor of serving the larger church, currently serving as secretary to the Lebanon Association, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Penn Central Conference.
     The opportunities are limitless.  Take a chance, walk through the doors and experience the Holy Spirit in your life!
